Turtle Tower - Marina
San Francisco

My go to spot when I crave chicken pho!! Turtle Tower Marina is sophisticated, sexy and most importantly, so so delicious!! I came here with my family so it's kid friendly and I've also partied here with my high school girlfriends on a Saturday night! It's a perfect spot for all group sizes and vibes. My oldest loves the Beef Pho and my two little ones enjoy the Chicken Pho Noodle soup. Something about their meal is so heartwarming and filling. The decor is very beautiful, like a fine dining establishment. Very modern and clean. The service is always impeccable! Smiles and warm greetings when we enter every time and quick service when we need it. So excited and happy for this Marina location!
A review from KQED on late night food places in the Bay Area brought me to this new gem in the Marina district. The pho was excellent, with rich broth and fresh ingredients. We tried the basic beef and veggie pho, and both were delicious. The service was great, with friendly staff who offered stories of the restaurant’s origins (i.e. The name Turtle Tower deriving from a landmark in Hanoi.) We spent about $45 after tax and tip for two bowls of pho, which seems standard for dining out in SF these days. Would come back anytime to try other options.
We had dinner in this restaurant during our 3 days stay in San Francisco. The food was excellent, the choice quite wide. Friendly service and nice location. Prices are also good. Recommended!
Yummy broth and chicken in the pho ga but they gave me an entirely wrong type of noodle. Service was decent, very kind people. Do Not order wine - I made a huge mistake ordering Chardonnay and it was nearly as bad as barefoot wines. Seems like a lovely spot though.
This location is stunning! From the moment I walked in, I was wowed by the decor and ambiance; the vibe is classy yet welcoming, making it a great spot for any occasion. The service perfectly matched the atmosphere, as the staff were both friendly and helpful. Of course, the highlight was the food. As a big fan of Hanoi-style phở, I can say that TT does it right: the noodles are silky, the broth is clear and flavorful, and the meat is incredibly fresh. I also really enjoyed the imperial rolls, fresh spring rolls, and bánh mì. And let's not forget the drinks, the cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese iced coffee) is wonderfully strong and delicious. I love TT pho-eva!
