My fiance loves this place, so I was very disappointed to learn that all of their curries are made with oyster sauce. However, I am very appreciative that the restaurant actually read my order and called to let me know (unlike many other restaurants, which would have just lied to me). The cook was instead able to adjust my order to a vegetarian stir fry. Thank you for being honest and for respecting and accommodating my dietary restrictions!
Sad to say they've gone way downhill since COVID. Prices are up, portions are down, and the flavor is gone. I don't think they really care about in-house diners anymore and just sling to-go via the apps where people don't care. They have listed the business for sale at least once so I think they are just done. As far as I know, House of Thai 1 on Geary is still good.
