Street Taco has a great burrito, I tried their carne asada and it came exactly as I ordered: toasted, black beans, and packed with some salsas. It's a solid burrito for those who live close to the Haight-Ashbury area, and I need to go back and try their tacos!
Ordered 3 super burritos. All three arrived without cheese, sour cream, or lettuce. We didn’t notice until we were well into our burritos. When I informed the guy behind the counter he got a bit belligerent asking me if I had received my burritos. He’s the older grey haired guy with glasses. I suggested they refund me the $10 difference. He just kept saying ‘did you get your burritos’. I gave up. He’s a jerk. Worst part is I tipped them! Food is good. Be sure you get what you ordered though!
Stopped into the location on Haight St. We got the carnitas Street Burrito and an order of nachos. Good quality burrito. Happy with the ratio of the meat to beans, rice, pico. The nachos were bigger and better than we expected. Fully covered in toppings and cheese. I hate when I run out of toppings and you still have extra chips and this was not the case. I give the service 5 bc the ladies at the counter were friendly and the food came out quickly. I gave to atmosphere a 3 bc the tables were not being cleaned off and the garbage can was overflowing. The big window/ patio in the front is a great place to people watch and there is a lot to see in Haight St.
For a simple taco stand this place was absolutely fantastic! You can tel leverything is hand made. From the totrtas to the beef to the guacamole there is no doubt that someone put a lot of effort into the food. The staff a super friendly and the upstairs table are a respite from the noise of the bussy street. It was a great find!
Good tacos, freshly made tortillas and we had the Al pastor that was soft and tasty. A bit on the expensive side, but considering it’s freshly made, it’s worth it. The tortilla bowl for the salad was also very light and tasty. Street burrito with Al pastor was moist and tasty as well.
