Very good pizza, natural flavors, nice big slices and cool ambience. In front of Jimi Hendrix Red House. Mine was the Combo American slice and my friend asked for the pepperoni one.
Tony Gemignani has won 13 world titles in pizza making & it shows. Lines out the door to grab a table at Tony's and a hefty wait when ordering a whole pie but if you're in a pinch, you can grab a couple slices in under 20 minutes. My favorite pizza is Margherita, so that would be my recommendation! Once you order, they give you a number to listen for when the pizza is warmed up and ready to go. The slices are a good size and will definitely fill you up easy. You can get two if you're really hungry or want pizza for later (totally recommend!). I don't usually eat pizza crust, but I guess Slice House is the exception because there is nothing left over after I'm all done. You can tell they use fresh, local ingredients, down to the water they use for the dough. Chef's kiss. Before my husband and I were married, we would grab a couple slices at the window, then make our way to the nearby park and eat while people-watching. It's a great time! All in all, one of the few must-visit spots when we're in the city and we highly recommend it to any out-of-town visitors.
Love Slice House! It is great when you don't want to order an entire pie. My favorites are their New York style and deep dish slices. The only drawback is when you take it to go, the toppings gets smeared on the top of the box. What once was a beautiful pizza slice is now smushed.
Delicious pizza! Love the variety of choices between different styles and flavors. Great spot, and I can’t wait to go back!
One of the best pizza chains I've been and I've been to my fair share of them. Great value in their slices which are massive, the regular New York style ones and not the squares. Their wise guy is a staple order for me and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is close enough to visit.
