My friend took me to this seafood place, which is next to the beach with 2 minutes of walking distance. The food was delicious and fresh, with California sunshine, you can’t beat the vibe. We are heading to a hiking along the beach. Cheers!
What a stroke of luck we had to be driving by and seeing the long cue to order food which caught out curiosity. We went for a long walk on the beach and then, treated ourselves to some fish and chips and the grilled fish of the day. Oh boy, was it worth it! Frish, tasty, with a interesting twist, be it on their fries or the habañero carryo sauce. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely come back!
Meh. Not sure what the hype and long wait was for. The fish and chips were decent but as I expect fish and chips to taste, nothing exceptional. It’s just a fancier version of Wahoos or any Baja fish style place. I think it’s more of a tourist trap, since everyone there were tourists. Get in, take your instagram photos, eat once, (standing up since all the tables are full) and move onto the next tourist time trap. If I knew about the decent but “just ok” flavor, I would not have waited in line or for the food for an hour and a half. Would have found some other spot.
Really incredible little restaurant! As the name suggests, it specializes in fish, and they make it really well. The fish tastes fresh and it's made perfectly. I also love the way they constructed the outdoor seating area; very unique and pleasing architecture. The people behind the counters were also very friendly. I love where it's located as well. You'd expect a restaurant of this theme and quality to be in some high-end, downtown area or by the bay, but the fact that it's located in the Sunset district makes it incredibly calming to dine there. Prices are high, of course, but it's a fantastic place to treat yourself or others for a meal.
First time trying this place. Went there on a Monday early evening (5pm). Little wait, but there are couple of people enjoying their food. I orderd Fish and Chips, and it was good! Crispy batter and juicy fish. The included chips are seasoned perfectly! Overall, I want to try them again and enjoy the atmosphere :)
