i’m so happy bb.q, an OG korean fried chicken franchise, finally came to san francisco. the original fried and hot spicy are the classics menus. i wish they had smaller options for the half & half order. it’s pretty big, it feeds three to four people. and their rose ddeok bokki is probably the best in the bay area! 치킨 만세!
Ordered take out. Fried chicken is very good, ordered the secret sauce (a light red sauce similar to sweet chili but not spicy) and honey garlic (tasted as you’d expect, not too sweet). Nice and crispy, good batter to wing ratio. Minus one star because it was $3 ($21.84 for a small order) more expensive to order onsite than online ($18.99 for a small order).
I already picked up twice from this location. The rating here is unreasonable. The food is exactly what I’m expecting though it is not the whole chicken like other location but it is stated at the menu. Go for Golden original and Spicy original, and you won’t be disappointed
Order pickup. Best fried chicken in SF imo. The pickled radish has a different taste than ones I had at other places, and I don’t like it.
