My favorite place so far. Love their Al pastor burrito
Good taco, not the best but good enough, good pozole which was worth it, and grumpy staff.
I’m looking for a good burrito near my home. The Little Chihuahua (TLC) qualifies as nearby. I ordered takeout- a pollo asado super burrito for me and a tostada salad for my wife. My burrito was the 2nd worst burrito I’ve ever had topped (or bottomed) by one that I got from El Toucan on 16th St. Tht TLC burrito was pretty much all rice I occasionally encountered a pinto bean or a piece of chicken and there was absolutely no cabbage salad. The super burrito extra ingredients promised, guacamole, sour cream and cheese were non-existent! It was a dry, totally disappointing experience. The only thing that kept it from being worse than the El Toucan burrito was the TLC’s rice was properly cooked whereas the El Toucan burrito was like eating gravel because the rice was totally undercooked. The total tab was $41 and change. No more TLC for me-one and done. I sure miss the Bonita on 16th St.!
Excellent choice for “healthier” fast-casual food. I loved the plantains being an option and the self-serve salsa bar! I experienced fresh food and pleasant service at this restaurant on a recent visit to the city.
