I had to leave a review for this place, the pizza was absolutely delicious!! I didn’t think a square pizza was going to be my kind of thing! But I was absolutely blown away how great it was. The pepperoni was amazing!! I actually ordered via Uber Eats because we were visiting and we were so happy with our choice! I ordered a side of wings as well with ranch!! The wings were perfectly cooked and seasoned!! 100% order from here! I would recommend it to anyone!!
Tried the SquarePie guys when we visited Pier 39 and we are so glad that we ordered here. For the appetizer we took the Hot Honey Buffalo wings, omg the chicken is so tender and the combination of honey and buffalo was 10/10! Also tried the Buffalo chicken pizza which was again 10/10, and Lemon Pepper pizza, this was also okay like 8.5/10 for us! And finally for the dessert we tried both brownie and square cookie, the cookie was our favorite out of the two. Will definitely try this again when we are in the area.
Came here after a long bike ride and felt very tired but excited to have pizza. Good - Portion sizes are huge - I liked the create your own with red sauce a lot, it was really tasty especially with the fresh tomatoes - Reasonable prices for how many slices of pizza there are! - Lots of outdoor seating and ample indoor seating too Bad - Takes quite a while for the food to arrive, it took maybe 20 min to get our food finally Overall what a nice experience by the water and beautiful views
After a busy day of sightseeing, we decided we wanted to have a little pizza for dinner. We stumbled across square pie guys and thought we would give it a try. It has a kiosk inside that you can order exactly what you want. Which has a vodka sauce with our own toppings. After finding a seat, our food was brought out about 15 minutes later. It was delicious. Deep dish with the crust crunchy yet not hard. Toppings were very flavorful. The staff was friendly and professional. I think we will be going here again soon.
After my swim at Aquatic Park, my wife and I were craving something hearty. We saw Square Pie Guys across the street and decided to check out their Detroit-style pizza. We shared the Ellen Supreme (pepperoni, Italian sausage, roasted onions, and peppers with vodka sauce), and it was delicious! The standout here is the balance of the toppings. I was impressed by the crispness of the pepperoni and Italian sausage—they had that perfect charred snap. What made it unique, though, was the vodka sauce; it’s noticeably lighter and more refined than a typical marinara, acting as a clean foundation that let the smoky, bold flavor of the pepperoni take center stage. Pro-tip: We also ordered a side of ranch, but it was a bit too thin and watery for our taste. If you prefer a thick, creamy ranch, I’d skip it. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and fast (I love a fast team!). Even though the dining room wasn't full, they were clearly hustling with high delivery volume, yet they still found time to get us everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great Detroit-style pizza in a casual, beer-hall-style setting.
