Came here during Salesforce TDX 2026 with some friends visiting from Mexico — they were on a mission for lobster rolls, so we trusted Google (and all the other reviewers) and gave this place a try. Good call. The place was nice and quiet when we walked in, and you could immediately smell the seafood — always a good sign. We ordered two Maine-style lobster rolls and one Connecticut-style (warm with butter), plus of course… one friend had to be different and ordered a burger 😂 I went with the lobster roll + chowder combo — and somehow ended up with two chowders, which was a great surprise. Not complaining at all. Everything was delicious. The lobster rolls were fresh and flavorful, the chowder was rich and comforting, and even the fries on the side were on point. And shoutout to the burger — my friend is very picky about burgers, and he loved this one, which says a lot. Service was smooth, no issues, and the whole experience felt easy and relaxed. If you’re in SF and craving a solid lobster roll and chowder combo, this spot definitely delivers.
Got the lunch combo for a sando + soup for $25. The lady (seems like the only person working there) was very nice and polite. The space is large, with plenty of tables and counter sitting. It has a nice "ocean" vibe to it. Food wise I'm on the fence here. It is lobster and tastes like it. Just not sure if it's worth the price point. The chowder wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. If you're feeling like lobster, maybe give it a go?
I stepped outside my usual Maine lobster roll order and tried the Connecticut style here… and I regret nothing except the sauce. The lobster itself had potential, but the sauce didn’t land for me, and the crunchy lettuce completely took over the roll. It was noticeably bitter and overpowered the sweetness of the lobster meat - which is kind of the whole point. When I order a lobster roll, I want the lobster to be the star, not fighting for attention. That said - the staff? Absolute 10/10. Beyond friendly, incredibly helpful with menu suggestions, and genuinely warm. The service convinced me to try the Maine lobster roll.
Definitely one of the most underrated and lesser-known restaurants for what they offer. The lobster sandwich has plenty of meat and is well seasoned. You can choose it warm or cold, depending on your preference. The chips are a bit on the hard side, but they’re well seasoned with paprika and clearly cooked in-house. The clam chowder is savory with a nicely balanced thickness. In my opinion, they also have one of the best coleslaws. I do think they need to clean up the restaurant and make it feel more polished, and then do a better job promoting themselves on social media. I really don’t want them to just go away.
