Had a great lunch here the other day, the staff greated us with smiles and friendly banter. Tried the fried chicken, some hush puppies and fhe muffaletta, all of which where excellent. Fried chicken was very crispy, the hush puppies were so savory and delicious and the muffaletta was so tasty. Would be happy to dine here again soon.
Im from Louisiana and stumbled across Brenda's while at painted ladies...group of 4 and we were told you have to have reservations. But idk what happened or if it was because they knew it was birthday, but they sat us at a table without reservations. I ordered the blackened fish, greens, Mac n cheese, and red beans and rice. VERY GOOD!!! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT BIRTHDAY BRUNCH!!! The large mimosa was good too.
Excellent café! Friendly staff. Good food. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Decent selection of dishes to suit any taste. Loved the egg and bacon that I had. Wasn't a huge wait for the food. Drinks came out very quickly also. If you are in the area, drop in and treat yourself!
Brenda's Meat & Three is a place with real, authentic soul. The food feels more like home cooking. And while it may lack a bit of refinement and slightly better quality overall, it makes up for it with comforting flavors and tasty sides. What stands out is the warm and friendly service and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. It is a good spot for an uncomplicated and affordable meal. I always enjoy coming here and can definitely recommend it.
