Great place to eat.The food is good and tasty.Service was good also. Some trivia. Back in the late 60’s. This place was an old pizza joint converted into a club called The Matrix. The Doors and other influential groups played here
5 stars isn't enough! We held our 10 year company anniversary at The Den (in the backroom) and it was phenomenal. Our clients were incredibly impressed with the staff and the service, not to mention incredible cocktails and not-a-crumb-left level catering. We'll definitely host more events here in the future! (BTW it's also my favorite bar SF!)
This was some of the best food I've had in a while. I tried several things. I'm not usually a fan of Brussel sprouts, but I wanted the calamari, so I got the sprouts and Calamari and it was so good! The Calamari is cooked perfectly and the sprouts were very flavorful. For the main dish we had the pork chop and apple sauce and the Bolognese. That pomegranate reduction on the pork chop was heavenly. The highlight however, is the Bolognese. I've never been to a restaurant and believed that the noodles were actually handmade. I've tried Bolognese very often and always been disappointed. I wanted to eat this stuff by the bucket. I can't wait to go back!
It was such a pleasure to visit Wilder Every part of the evening was exceptional. The handcrafted drinks are above and beyond. Everything was so well balanced and delicious. If you are looking for exceptional drinks crafted by a true cocktail wizard, find Scott and have an espresso martini, pornstar martini, filthy martini, or literally any other specialty drink you can think of. This guy is the Michaelangelo of bartenders. Above and beyond is an understatement.
