Really solid sandwich, the tomato and tomato jam is soo good and cuts through it so well. Good bread, toasted but not too chewy. One thing though, cant believe I'm saying it but wish there was less bacon so it'd be less salty Avo smash was great as well but wish the bread were toasted
If you like flavor packed deli sandwhiches - this is your place. Tried the pastrami and every bite was delish. Will be back to try a different sandwhich. I think the key is to order ahead. Cons: pricey, long wait (20 mins) and no seating to eat.
These sandwiches were delicious and tasted so fresh! A little pricey but would definitely recommend and come back. Alamo Park is near by, perfect meal for a picnic :)
Lucinda's Deli & More is an absolute must-stop whether you’re a local or just visiting the city. This place is one of those true neighborhood gems that instantly makes an impression and keeps you coming back. The sandwiches here are seriously out of this world. Everything is fresh, generously portioned, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of sandwich you’re still thinking about long after you’ve finished it. My first experience at Lucinda’s was actually before moving to San Francisco, and now that I’m officially a resident, it’s become a go-to spot especially when friends or family are visiting from out of town. It’s always the place I want to show people. One of the best parts is what comes after you grab your sandwich. You can walk right over to Alamo Square and sit in the park while enjoying the view of the Painted Ladies. It’s such a classic San Francisco experience and makes the whole stop even better. The vibe at Lucinda’s is casual, friendly, and welcoming exactly what you want from a neighborhood deli. It feels authentic and local in the best way. Incredible sandwiches, a perfect location, and an experience that never disappoints. I highly recommend stopping in you won’t regret it.
