We had a great experience here! The meatballs were absolutely amazing, the tomato sauce was so good that we practically cleaned the plate. The pizza was delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and full of flavor as well. The service was fast and attentive, and everything we ordered arrived surprisingly quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, although the restaurant was very busy. We came without a reservation, but the staff still managed to find us a table. That said, I’d recommend making a reservation if you can.
This was a great little spot for lunch! The food was delicious especially the peperdelle pasta with pork, this has got to be one of the tastiest pastas. Fun fact, they don't have pepperoni on their pizzas!!!! The pizza was okay, and the service was fair. Not a bad place but not the experience I was hoping for, especially given all the hype.
Good Italian restaurant in the Marina. It has a nice outdoor seating area, as well as lots of seating indoors. It's a bit cramped indoors, and most of the seating is at long tables sitting on hard stools, which aren't very comfortable. Because of the long tables, you may end up sitting right next to another group, so it's not the best place for intimate conversations. I tried the mushroom pizza with the gluten-free crust, and it was delicious. I also had the winter salad, which was small but tasty. Service was good, with the server walking me through the GF options on the menu. However, when we wanted to leave to catch our movie, it took a long time to pay. After a while of waiting at our table, we eventually went up to the register to pay.
Calamari was simply delicious, couldn’t stop eating it. Loved the addition of shishitos and the lovely sauce. White prawns and bread were nice - very lemon forward. Shrimp were sweet and cooked perfectly. Liked the apps more than entrees. Pizza w/fennel sausage (no pic) was par. Pasta with pork and pappardelle was tasty. Not a huge fan of all the fees on the bill.
