Best taco I’ve eaten and the service was spectacular 100%. Good food good beer good views and great service even on a busy night like 4th July 250 Anniversary. Thanks guys you made a great night for a couple of Aussie travellers
Everything is prepared daily on the spot. The freshest and yummiest tortillas and authentic Yucatán menu by Chef Tim & his amazing team. Excellent cocktails, with + without alcohol, and gorgeous views to boot. Don’t miss it!
Celebrated our anniversary accidentally at Barrio. Looking for something amazing and stumbled on this hidden gem. Owned and operated by a family and dedicated to great friendly service and outstanding recipes that did not disappoint! I wish I could take credit for finding this place, but it’s the end result that counts! Thanks for making our dining experience memorable!
We are visiting from the most southern part of California. My wife and I had their Fried Shrimp, Birria and Pork Tacos. They were delicious. My wife had the pineapple margarita. It was the best. Jairo, the Lead/Host is a stand up guy. Emily, the bartender is amazing. Lead Karla kept us entertained with some great information on San Francisco.
The view here is absolutely beautiful — probably the best thing about this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service and food didn’t match the setting. When my family (a group of five) arrived, I asked for a table with a view that I could see was open. The hostess quickly said it was reserved, but after about five minutes she seated us there and didn’t seem happy about it. From that point, she wasn’t friendly or attentive — it felt like she didn’t want to serve us. What made this experience especially disappointing is that this happened from one Mexican to another. Sadly, sometimes even among our own community, there’s a stereotype that Mexicans won’t tip well — and that kind of judgment really hurts. We always treat restaurant staff with respect and tip fairly, but that kindness wasn’t shown back to us. It’s was even more clear when the other table next to us seems to be getting a lot of extra attention due to there race. The food wasn’t great either. The rice tasted like it came from a box — dry and plain — and the meat was overly salted. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the plantains. Overall, Barrio has an amazing view and is nice if you want photos, but the food and service didn’t live up to it.
