Absolutely! Here’s a polished review that sounds personal and heartfelt while highlighting your experience and professional perspective: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped by Mellow Heights during the San Francisco Marathon, and I can honestly say this was the best matcha experience I’ve ever had. The Rose Matcha was not only absolutely delicious, but it was also one of the most beautiful drinks I’ve ever been served. What made the experience even more special was the incredible service from Giselle and Nubia. There were only the two of them working, and because the shop is right near the 20-mile marker of the marathon, they were absolutely slammed with customers. Despite the nonstop rush, they handled everything with such grace, kindness, and professionalism. Every customer was greeted with a smile, and they never seemed flustered. I manage Food & Nutrition at a hospital, including a licensed Starbucks, and I also serve as a hospital leader. I know firsthand how challenging it is to lead through high-volume, high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent customer service. Giselle and Nubia were truly exceptional. Their positive attitudes, teamwork, and composure were something special to witness. Mellow Heights is incredibly fortunate to have these two representing their business. They turned a quick coffee stop into one of my favorite memories from marathon weekend. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in San Francisco! I think this review will mean a lot to both Giselle and Nubia. It’s specific, genuine, and coming from someone with leadership experience in food service makes the praise especially meaningful. I even left all the cool souvenirs I bought and had to walk all the way back and they were safe! 🍵🫶🫶🫶
Staff here are so nice and the vibes are always good. A really chill place to grab some coffee. ☕️ especially after you come back from amoeba and you feel like your vibes are
Cute spot! I was a little letdown by the smaller selection of plants, but it seems like this location is more of a coffee shop that happens to have plants and other knickknacks. I do always love the idea of a smorgasbord shop. The coffee was ok. This place seems more about the vibes anyways, and vibes it has. I’d still recommend checking it out, and I’d swing by again if I was in the neighborhood, but I’m looking forward to checking out their fuller plant shop location in the mission.
This is a really cute hidden gem that blends plants, accessories, and a coffee shop vibe. While I absolutely love everything I’ve bought from them, the space has definitely transitioned over the past year—it now feels much more like a coffee shop and less like a dedicated plant store. They still have a nice curated collection of plants for sale, but the selection isn't nearly as extensive as it was this time last year. Still, it’s a lovely spot and absolutely worth a visit!
Amazing coffee. I got an iced latte with oat milk and it was tasty! It’s nice to simply sit and enjoy all the planet while sipping. They also have cute gift options, artistic pots for plants, a Photo Booth, loads of luscious looking plants, donuts, even a barber shop upstairs. It’s a vibe. Come enjoy
