Hidden gem!! Food was great. Decent size portions. Friendly staff. Felt like a family run business that appreciated you dining with them rather than a chain. We arrived around 9.30am. Placed our name on the yellow clip board and waited for our name to be called out. Obviously a popular place with the locals and lots of people willing to wait for a table.
Had brunch at 8am and it was such a great start to the day! The team is super attentive — they refill your coffee/water instantly without even asking, which I loved. We ordered the crepe and avocado toast; both were really delicious, though a bit on the pricey side. The staff seem to have great teamwork and are genuinely friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Also, it’s a perfect spot to kick off your Lombard Street walk 😁 Highly recommend stopping by!
Very friendly and energetic staff, prompt service, delicious food and large portions. The frittata with spinach, mushrooms and Swiss cheese and the crepes were all very tasty. We are rarely in this part of town but will definitely stop back in the next time we are.
Just over a year ago, my family and I visited 8 AM Brunchbin for the first time, and we walked away talking about two things: how good the food was and how genuinely kind and attentive the customer service felt. That combination stuck with us so much that on this trip, we made it a point to come back—and ended up eating breakfast here two days in a row. The food is exactly as we remembered: incredibly fresh, simply prepared, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The lox bagel was perfect, and the waffle might be one of the best I’ve ever had. We actually found ourselves debating how the cooks manage to make something so straightforward taste so exceptional. The service is still top‑tier—friendly, patient, and welcoming in a way that makes you feel like they’re truly happy you’re there. Highly recommended. This place has earned a permanent spot on our San Francisco must‑visit list.
