Boudin Bakery
San Francisco
Recenzje
Discovered this place while out walking. We dropped in because we saw them making the bread through the window. What a wonderful find. The peanut butter brownie was amazing. My kids loved all the sourdough bread that came in fun shapes. They have some meat and cheese on offer as well. You can stop and get a sandwich and clam chowder or just pick selections from the bakery. We tried several items (coffee cake, croissants, breads, and cookies) and everyone was thrilled. My husband is a bakery fiend so I think he tried to buy everything they have. I would definitely recommend.
A classic San Francisco experience that you cannot miss! The legendary clam chowder served in a fresh sourdough bread bowl is absolutely delicious, rich, and comforting. The location right at Fisherman's Wharf is perfect, offering great views and a fun atmosphere. Plus, they have a fantastic souvenir shop filled with unique gifts and fresh bread to take home. A must-visit!
What a cool place to visit and eat. Its an experience. I really enjoyed the clam chowder in the sourdough bread. The bakery is full of interesting and eye-catching things. From seeing the bread being made through the glass windows to baskets overhead on a moving conveyer belt carrying the bread from one place to another. There are so many tasty treats to tempt you, I had chocolate brownie it was delicious. Upstairs is a beautifully decorated restaurant and bar (we didn't eat Upstairs). Prices are as you would expect on the high side but well worth a visit.
Went on a weekend for lunch and got seated right away. We shared a clam chowder in a bread bowl and it did not disappoint! It has been our favorite so far. After that we shared a rib eye steak that was perfectly cooked. The service was incredible and everyone was extremely kind and attentive. Such a great experience overall.
The bread is amazing. The cookies are amazing. The staff is very helpful. Even with long lines at the counter the food came out super fast. We barely sat down and they were calling our number. They are famous for clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I don’t like clams so I ordered the chili. Worst chili ever, seriously a can of a hormel would have been better. But the bread was still good. You can watch them the bread from the window on the street if you want.
