I went to Sorella with friends, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Jason was our waiter, and he was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the food was exceptional. The focaccia, calamari, Caesar salad, strangulet, New York steak, and tiramisu were the highlights of the night. Everything was beautifully prepared, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Chef Fernanda is incredibly talented and was also so warm and pleasant. You can truly taste the care and passion behind every dish. I highly recommend Sorella and sincerely hope they receive a Michelin star soon — they absolutely deserve it!

The pasta was ok. Compared to the price, the portion was a bit small. The tiramisu was a bit disappointing, the cream was too heavy and stiff

Friends - When I tell you that Sorella might be the greatest undiscovered treasure in SF I'm not even joking. My husband and I are new to Nob Hill, and we wandered into Sorella the week after moving for a drink and a bite. And WOW. We have lived in SF for a year and we have not felt as welcomed as we did the second we sat in front of Parker at the bar. The food is superb. The staff incredible. We loved our apps so much ($1 oysters during happy hour) that we came back the NEXT DAY to enjoy some entrees. Sat in front of Parker again. Next time we came back a few days later, this time with in-laws in tow, and the staff recognized us. Even had the wonderful Chef Fernanda stop by to say hello. Every single dish was incredible. Focaccia, oysters with granita, lobster lasagna, pork chops, very inventive martinis, paired wines, and the most incredible sorbet. It was all SO GOOD. Please come visit them.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. From start to finish, it was the most mind-blowing experience I’ve ever had. We met this beautiful, joyful woman named Luka, who was so kind. She sat us down at the bar, where we enjoyed some lovely drinks. They also gave us happy hour oysters, which were, of course, delicious. Then we were seated at our table, where we got to meet the whole team. Each person individually welcomed us and attended to all our needs. Even the head chef came out personally, greeted us, and offered us items from the menu as a gesture of kindness—which, honestly, I don’t feel we even deserved. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was so delicious, and the flavors never clashed. I truly don’t have a single bad word to say. I can’t wait for them to receive their first Michelin star—they all deserve it. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the wonderful people for the hard work they put in—not just in bringing the food out quickly, but in doing so with love and care. Thank you again.

Sorella in San Francisco gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The atmosphere is really nice and makes it a comfortable place for a meal. The food was decent overall rather than mind blowing, but there were a couple of standouts. The gnocchi was my favorite and the carne tartare was also really well done. The lasagna, on the other hand, felt a little weak compared to the other dishes. Service was ok and the prices are decent for the city. Overall, it is a good spot with a few highlights and worth trying.
