We had dinner at Souvla three times during our stay in San Francisco because we loved it so much! The Freebird All-Natural Chicken Salad was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. We also tried the Avgolemono Soup, which was warm, comforting, and very tasty. The food was always fresh and high quality. The restaurant has a great vibe with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service during every visit. Souvla became one of our favorite places in San Francisco, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Souvla is one of our go-to spots in San Francisco when we want something quick, fresh, and consistently good. The Greek salad is a standout - super fresh, well-balanced, and one of the best in the city. The fries with garlic aioli are a must-order - crispy, flavorful, and perfect to share. Their rosé is crisp and refreshing and pairs really well with the menu, adding a slightly more elevated feel than your typical fast-casual spot. Don’t skip dessert, the baklava is delicious and the perfect way to finish the meal. The space is clean, modern, and efficient, and the Hayes Valley location makes it an easy stop while exploring the neighborhood. Overall: Reliable, fresh, and a great option for high-quality food in San Francisco. We keep coming back.
Amazingly tasty food! I had the lamb sandwich, greek fries, and frozen yogurt with olive oil and flaky salt for 30$. Service was super quick and host was super friendly!
We ordered the chicken sandwich, juicy potatoes, and the baklava frozen yogurt — everything was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to come back next time to try the rotisserie chicken. The frozen yogurt is a must-try. I once had a blueberry yogurt gelato in Las Vegas that was the best gelato I’ve ever had, and I’ve been trying to find something similar in the Bay Area ever since but never succeeded. The frozen yogurt here is the closest I’ve ever had to that flavor! I really hope they’ll offer a blueberry frozen yogurt one day.
I stopped by Souvla and had the lamb salad and Greek yogurt drizzled with olive oil, and it was fantastic. The lamb was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, sitting on a bed of fresh, crisp greens with just the right balance of flavors. The Greek yogurt was thick, creamy, and rich, and the olive oil added a lovely savory depth that elevated the dessert into something surprisingly indulgent. The atmosphere is bright and casual, with friendly staff making the experience even better. Souvla is a great spot for fresh, flavorful Greek food that feels both satisfying and modern.
