Visited this brunch spot on our last say in San Francisco. The food and service was amazing! Our waiter even went to the restaurant next door to try and accommodate my mother-in-law's request for chicken and waffles after they had run out of chicken on two orders prior. The restaurant is easily accessible a short walk from Jefferson Street, and makes for a pleasant start to a day of sightseeing on the pier.
This may be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The French toast was to die for, the berries were the freshest I’ve had - everything was perfect. The service was wonderful too. We are only here a few days and may have to come back again
I haven’t written a review in years but this place just stood out to me so much! The food was DELICIOUS. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! There was a long line outside and they said a table would be available in one hour but we got a table in less than 15 minutes! I ordered the fruit waffles and loaded tots with a side of bacon and a mocktail. The service was SO kind. They asked us how our food was often and the manager even came and asked us how our food was. Was very clearly family owned and focused on quality. Also a very cute photo spot. All the food was very pretty and garnished nicely.
I stopped by Board and Drink early one morning while my family was still sleeping and was surprised to find it already packed. I ordered the matcha latte and French toast, and the French toast was outstanding—I'm still thinking about it. The menu overall has a lot of great options. Later, my family joined me and was seated right away because I had already put our name down. My husband tried the breakfast burrito, which is popular in reviews, but it wasn't his favorite. Service was excellent throughout—quick, efficient, and friendly despite how busy the restaurant was. There always seemed to be a line outside while we were in town, but after eating here, it's easy to understand why. Definitely worth a visit.
We are so happy we stumbled on this place today. Our omelette was large enough to share, full of tasty ingredients, cooked perfectly. In addition we enjoyed a side of chicken sausage and a lovely fruit salad. The staff/owners were delightful, service was ideal, food arrived quickly. Interior is simple clean and bright.
