Great location and beautiful interior. We went for Happy Hour because we were between meals and wanted to enjoy the view. The Happy Hour options were about half of what the regular price on the menu. Initially, because were were sat in the the dining room, we were told that we could not order the happy hour, but I guess they had a private party in that area, so they allowed us to order it. I ordered their version of an Aperol spritzer and it was very tart and sour, so I asked for more soda in it, then it was fine. The most expensive thing on the menu was the crab cakes which were 3 tiny dots and not worth the $$ in my opinion. The sliders were good and we got a 2nd order of those and the beef dish was good as well. The reason I did 3 stars on food is because we ordered a salad and it was super gritty- like they had totally forgotten to wash it. I couldn't even get through one bite. They did give us some little dessert bites for our anniversary, which I thought was kind. Service was great and our waiter was very responsive. On the whole, I would give it another shot.
What a wonderful experience! We came here today to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our dental office. Paul was our server and he was fantastic. He welcomed us with a card signed by the Epic team, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Paul was friendly, attentive and just made our dinner a great experience. The food is delicious. We loved the steak, creamy mashed potatoes, the baby carrots and the strawberry short cake. The ambiance is beautiful. They have a great view of the Bay Bridge and the restaurant is lovely! We will definitely be coming back.
I had made a rsv for my wife’s birthday at the restaurant. We arrived on time and they brought us to our table shortly. I had requested outdoor seating because the view is just incredible. It was a little chilly that evening but they have outdoor heating, it made our dinner very comfortable. Our server was very attentive and informative about the menu. However he never introduced himself so we did not get his name. We tried their cocktails they were very fruity and good. We opted in for their porter house steak because it is big enough to share. We also made it a combo which includes salad or soup, the steak, appetizer and dessert. We ordered some raw oysters they were very fresh. The jumbo shrimp was my favorite both the shrimp and the sauce goes very well with each other. I like my steak medium rare however the steak came out to rare. I did not bring this issue to my servers attention because it was bearable to me but it was too rare to my wife’s liking. The truffle mac and cheese was phenomenal. Overall the food was 5/5 to us. I had told the restaurant that it was my wife’s birthday and they had a hand written birthday card for her which I thought it was a nice touch. The server also told us that one dessert would be on the house so we were able to pick 2 different desserts to try. Overall epic steak is very great we would be back for special occasion if we are ever in sfo again.
First time here and it did not disappoint! I will start with our exceptional server Joseph was one of those servers who just makes the experience all the more amazing. Every once on a while you get a truly amazing service this was one of those times. When you feel welcomed, taken care of at every turn and over all makes dinning there an absolutely amazing experience. Now on to the food the new York was cooked to utter perfection the best steak I've ever had hands down the gold mashed potatoes and asparagus delicious! The tiramisu was so good! The atmosphere and ambiance were a whole vibe and the view oh man the view!!!! Highly recommend coming here and ask for Joseph!!
I had an incredible experience at EPIC Steak. This was honestly the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. The views from the restaurant are absolutely outstanding. Being right on the waterfront with views of the Bay Bridge makes the entire dining experience feel really special, especially in the evening. The service was top notch from start to finish. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being overwhelming. And of course, the food was wow. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and care that goes into every dish. If you’re visiting San Francisco and want an unforgettable steakhouse experience, I highly recommend this place.
