Great fried chicken brunch location near major SF tourist spots. Got the chicken burger and chicken and waffles, both were great. Chicken was crunchy and juicy highly recommend. Everything halal.
our family of four ordered the chicken and waffles, breakfast burrito, four mini waffle sampler with strawberries (didn’t even need syrup), fried chicken benedict. overall great breakfast on chestnut street within walking distance to so many shops and hilton infinity hotel
We came to Cracked and Battered twice during a weekend visit to the Marina District. The restaurant offers delicious food, fulfilling portion sizes, and fast service. The atmosphere is warm and the staff is very friendly, though it does get a bit cramped inside.
I recently visited Cracked & Battered for brunch and tried the chicken and waffles along with the chicken tacos. The chicken and waffles were the highlight of the meal—crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the waffles. The chicken tacos were also enjoyable and packed with good flavor. The restaurant has a simple, casual atmosphere that keeps the focus on the food. While the meal itself was satisfying, I was disappointed with the service. The staff did not come across as particularly friendly or welcoming, which took away from the overall experience. Overall, the food was definitely the strong point of the visit, especially the chicken and waffles. If you’re looking for a tasty brunch spot, it’s worth trying, though the service could use some improvement.
Good spot for some halal brunching at this Palestinian owned joint. Tried a couple of items including the Nashville chicken Benedict which was really good and recommended and the fried chicken and waffles which was good as well. The restaurant is small and during the weekends it gets quite busy. The owners and service is very friendly.
