Local delicacies! I had a chicken panini, which was delicious. I also had clam chowder and Alfredo chicken pasta. The chowder and pasta weren’t too spicy, but you can ask for hot sauce or some red pepper if you prefer it spicier.
I attracted by its colourful storefront at fisherman wharf. After getting inside, I love the friendly waiters and the vibe in this Capurro. I ordered the clam chowder and Irish coffee. Both have a rich flavour which really satisfies me. A Great dining experience here.
I had an exceptional experience at Capurro’s Restaurant. This place truly captures the essence of San Francisco dining, combining tradition, quality, and an incredibly warm atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can immediately tell they use high-quality ingredients, especially in their seafood, which was simply top-tier. Every bite reflected consistency and attention to detail. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive. Capurro’s is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. A true gem in the city that deserves recognition for its excellence and authenticity. I will definitely be coming back.
I'm Italian and let me tell you: this is the best food I had since I landed in the US! The raw oysters with lemon and Tabasco blew my mind away! Absolutely fantastic It's going straight into my favorite list
Last Thursday night (19 Feb 25) my wife and I ate dinner here and it was delicious. The service was great but you have to order at the front counter and they bring it out to you when it’s ready. We ordered drinks and my wife’s margarita tasted great but Long Island Tea had a little too much cola and not enough sour mix for my taste. I got the blackened salmon and my wife got the red snapper. They both tasted amazing and were perfectly cooked. The sides were huge and hindsight 20/20 we should probably have shared them. The owner came around to all the tables to check on his customers and stayed with us a couple of minutes making sure we were taken care of.
