Description

On Day 1, begin your journey with a trip to the infamous Alcatraz Island, home to one of the world’s most notorious federal prisons. Board the ferry at Fisherman’s Wharf and enjoy a self-guided audio tour, available in multiple languages. Explore the eerie, abandoned prison cells, learn about daring escape attempts, and discover Alcatraz’s fascinating history as a military fort, penitentiary, and Native American occupation site. Take your time exploring the island and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. On day 2, it’s time to hit the streets! With a full day of e-bike rental, you’ll have the freedom to create your own sightseeing itinerary and pedal your way through San Francisco’s iconic neighborhoods. Whether you're cruising to the Golden Gate Bridge, taking selfies by Baker Beach, or taking an espresso break in the North Beach, enjoying tacos in the Mission District, the powerful e-bike makes it easy to explore more, faster. With a self-guided tour, you’re in control—no rush, no limits. You can stop whenever something catches your eye, whether it’s the colorful murals of the Mission District, the tranquil paths of Golden Gate Park, or the historic streets of Chinatown. The e-bike makes San Francisco’s famous hills a breeze, allowing you to cover more ground without breaking a sweat. Post tour, folks can return back to San Francisco by riding the bike back at your own pace. Also, you can optionally take a ferry back to the city (Ferry ticket not included), and in high season we offer a Sausalito bike drop for those who wish to leave their bike in Sausalito for an extra fee.

Important Information

• Due to National Park restrictions, Alcatraz reservations cannot be moved or rescheduled after booking • Please contact the activity provider if you would like to reschedule your Ebike rental day
• The date you choose for booking is when you will visit Alcatraz. Your Ebike rental will take place the next day unless requested for another day. For example, if your desired Alcatraz date is July 1, your ebike rental will be on July 2 • The Cellhouse audio tour is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish • Credit card deposit may be required at the start of the bike rental
