Incredible new spot for delicious food and a great selection of wine to pair! Loved the creative south Asian inspired menu. The service was also amazing! can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu
We had such a great time here! We ended up ordering everything on the menu so we could try it all, and honestly every single dish was delicious. You can really tell the menu was curated thoughtfully and with so much care. I loved the South Asian influence throughout the dishes, it was so creative, balanced, and incredibly flavorful 10/10!! The service was also amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant itself is so cute inside with a cozy, stylish atmosphere and great vibes that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The wine selection was also fantastic and paired so well with the food. Don’t skip dessert either! Every dessert we tried was incredible, and the ice cream was so good that I would genuinely buy it by the pint if they sold it. Such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! I can’t wait to come back and bring more people. I’ll definitely be recommending Marina Beach to all of my friends.
This place is on another level. One of the greatest culinary experiences you will have anywhere in this city - a shining star in a neighborhood that really needed a home run wine + food experience. Bring a friend!!
A gem of a place! Had an amazing dining experience here. Local business, locally sourced produce, everything is incredibly fresh, thoughtful, and delicious. Unique and modern takes on bistro style food with South Asian influence. Super friendly staff, great vibes all around w the music, decor, neighborhood buzz. Fresh space, curated beautifully by the team. A great addition to the Marina.
This is such a delightful little spot. Cozy, vibey, and effortlessly relaxed. It's perfect for a group of friends, but it also felt like an ideal date-night spot. We went for dinner on opening weekend and had a great time. The menu and wine list are intentionally small, but exceptional. The owner, chef, and team are all out on the floor cooking, serving, and chatting with guests, super fun. The food feels unmistakably Californian, but layered with thoughtful influences from the owner's South Indian heritage and the chef's Latin American perspective, all expressed through a distinctly California lens. Kinda represents the new wave: a group of third-culture, surf-loving creatives expressing themselves through food and wine, and keeping things chill. The curry sausage, beans, beets, and squid onion bhajji were all outstanding. If you're a group of three or more, feel free to fire the menu. You'll be golden.
