Absolutely the best Italian food in San Francisco! Do not hesitate to eat here! Our party of 7 were seated right away. Fresh delicious herbed focaccia bread was served right away and we devoured the first round of it quickly, so more was served! Super friendly and fast service. Amazing food! We had the Lasagna, Margherita pizza, Prosciutto pizza, appetizer shrimp, Caesar salad and orange salad. Everything was bursting with high quality flavor! The Caesar had anchovies, croutons and large Parmesan shavings and incredible flavor! Pizza crust was so fluffy and soft but crispy underneath. The cheese on everything was top-notch!! The waiter was kind enough to even bring us a tiramisu to share and it was the best one I have ever had! This is the second time we have eaten here, since we only visit SF every couple of years, and we are definitely planning on dining here on our next trip to SF!
Our first time here and we'll definitely be back! We loved the amatriciana and carbonara! Delicious, excellent service, lovely ambiance (we sat outside). Simone - our server from Rome - was amazing!! I had some dietary restrictions and he made sure that everything was good for me to eat. He made our dining experience A+ 💯!
Food was good, but the the best. Solid 7/10 for the oxtail pasta and 6/10 for the lasagna. We tried this place for the second time because they have lasagna on the menu and their sister restaurant na’pizza has the best pizza! Not sure we will be back here for these dishes, but the service was good and the vibe too!
We had an absolutely terrific lunch experience thanks to David. From the moment we sat down, the service was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We ordered a pasta dish to share, and David kindly portioned it for us without even being asked. He also brought out a little extra for the table, which perfectly captured the spirit of great hospitality—undersell and overdeliver. Small gestures like that make a big difference. The food itself was outstanding. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxed, making it a perfect setting for a long lunch. Service like this is rare. David struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, and he elevated the entire experience. If I could give six stars out of five, I would. Highly recommended.
