I’ve visited this Hamburger Project with my wife. It was awesome! It’s like really really stunning experience. owner and his co-worker let us feel comfortable. We got the chance to watch the process of making hamburgers. We were impressed by the amount of knowledge and effort that went into making the hamburgers. If we ever visit San Francisco again, we would definitely come back to this burger place.
Craved a smash burger and this hit the spot. Crispy edges, melty cheese, crisp pickle, potato bun - everything you want in a good, solid smash burger. They had a green hot sauce at the bench you could add while you ate, definitely a fan of the added spice/vinegar. The fries were salty and crispy - i only wish I had a milkshake to dip them into. Saving this place on my SF map when we come back for a visit.
Anyone giving this a 1-star has an obvious issue that's outside of the food they ate. The burger is exactly what you expect from a smash (yes, smashed, super thin) burger. Nothing that's changing your idea of what a burger is (5 stars) but simply hits the spot. The fries are lack luster. Tastes fine enough, but should be made to order. I agree, need to be crispier. If out of 10 stars, I'd go with a 7. Rounding up on the 5-star scale because the young lady at the register was friendly.
Delicious smash burger and pretty good regular fries (house spicy green sauce was a nice touch). Preferred the Classic over the buttery Wisconsin, can always add patties. Small, cold counter for eating
I visited after watching Tablo’s YouTube video, and the vibe was great. Since I went around 6 p.m. on a weekday, there was no line and I could get my food right away. Parking is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, so you’ll need to find a spot nearby. The burger was good—worth trying at least once just to see what their style is like. But for me, the top-tier burgers are still In-N-Out and Shake Shack.
