So happy to have found this place! The food was delicious with very large portions! The seafood pasta in pink sauce was our favorite. We will definitely be back
I am writing this review keeping in mind that I was in San Francisco...If you are from the East Coast, do not expect the same type of quality of food that you are used to back at home. The food was solid for the location! The ambience was very unique and we were able to grab a table without reservations. They also played the World Cup which was nice. The pizza was surprisingly better than we anticipated and everything was fairly priced. All in all, I would recommend.
Went to pick up my TG2G order. They have 2 deals that run simultaneously. One for Mexican food, one for pasta. I got the pasta deal. I went in, was kindly greeted and given my order. I noticed it felt light and was a weird shape for pasta, so I opened the stapled bag, only to find a burrito. I immediately went back inside, they corrected the mix up and I believe gave me extra pasta as a gesture! The pasta was good! Missing just a little salt, but always better than too much. It was spaghetti with meatballs. Sauce was plentiful and they were not stingy with the meatballs. Overall good experience. Would eat there if I ever end up in the area. I will say parking is an absolute nightmare Olympic sport here. I ended up double parking along the parklette. It's bad, but I also went on a Friday night, so it was worse! For takeout or TG2G best for people on foot or try daytime pickup, the windows are long 2-9/5-10
I visited on a Thursday evening and ordered a glass of wine along with the cioppino rosso. There was no line when I arrived, so I was seated promptly. The staff were incredibly sweet and attentive. They gave helpful wine recommendations and even let me sample a few wines first. Since I wasn't sure how to crack the crab legs, one of the staff members kindly stepped in and taught me how to do it. While waiting for the food, I really enjoyed looking at all the vivid artwork around the restaurant, including the paintings on the ceiling! The complimentary bread and sauce appetizer was wonderful, and the sauce itself was exceptionally creamy. For the main dish, the cioppino was very flavorful and came served with two pieces of delicious garlic bread. I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking to try great cioppino without waiting in a long line!
Best risotto and ravioli we've ever had - and we're two Jersey girls who know good food, so that means something. Got there right before closing and the staff still treated us like royalty. Sangria was delicious too. 10/10, will be back.
