Best of time in that jazz club Perfect combo of good jazz music, tasty cocktails and delicious dumplings . Service was super friendly too !
i drove up here for a date night and it was genuinely magical. it was my first time going to a jazz night and it definitely did not disappoint. our server was also so patient, and also helped us get killer photos after the performance was over 😁
It's an amazing experience. Except I wished I could have stayed longer. The place is practically open for the show. I would say is more of a theater than a jazz club. Other than that I loved it.
We had a wonderful large group celebration at Mr Tipples, and all of our guests loved the experience. Jay the owner was a fantastic partner, and was very helpful in helping us figure out the right logistics food etc. I also really liked the banquet order system they use since it made the entire transaction including all the fees gratuity etc very transparent and made it easier to plan. The space is lovely and we were able to squeeze in 25 people into their lounge which is referred to as the opium den. The music was fantastic and the artists were amazing. The food and drinks were great as well. The restrooms are well maintained. The location is very easy to get to and is walking distance from the muni as well as bart, and easy enough to get Ubers as well. Good parking options also nearby and they even had a great list of suggestions on their website. Some things that could have been improved was the service. We struggled to get service sometimes and place drink orders. Yes we were a large group but the fee is per person so we had hoped it would have been accounted for. We also had a bit of wasted food due to an extra order we did not place. Last thing which could be improved was adding food labels with even just the name of what’s being served. Many of our party didn’t eat meat and they some dishes were misidentified by the server as containing pork and so people missed out on some of the food. Overall we loved our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a special and memorable event. Thank you to the Mr Tipples team!
