Great place for the World Cup. And you can bring your own food. Usually a good selection of crates beer. Parking can tough but worth the effort.
Great sports bar in the heart of Haight. They have lots of seating indoors & outdoors, and a terrific atmosphere with sports banners & flags decorating the ceiling. There's also a pool table. This place was full but not too crowded during the Canada-Morocco World Cup match. There are 10 TVs inside and 2 TVs outside, which makes it easy to see the game from virtually any spot you're sitting or standing. They only serve drinks and don't serve food, but you can bring in your own food. Dogs are welcome.
TL;DR: The absolute best spot in the Haight to catch a match—especially during massive tournaments like the World Cup. Insane energy, wall-to-wall screens, and a stellar staff. Just roll up 1–2 hours early if you want a hope of getting inside, and always bring a jacket! ⚽ The Vibe & The Setup This place is a beautiful, high-energy soccer haven. Outdoor Space: There's a sweet outdoor seating area if you want to soak up the atmosphere without staring at a screen—just note there are no TVs outside! 🍺 Drinks & Logistics On Tap: They serve up a great pour of Guinness (around $10.17 a pint) alongside pitchers and solid bar snacks to keep you fueled. Restrooms: A huge plus for a packed bar—they actually have three restrooms, which keeps the lines moving. 🎒 Local Pro-Tips for Match Day Arrive Early (No, Seriously): If you roll up right at kickoff, you’re not getting in. It gets so packed that there’s often zero standing room left. Cruise over an hour or two before the whistle blows to claim your spot. The Haight Chill: It’s the Haight, so the neighborhood microclimate rules apply. Even if it feels warm when you walk in, pack a heavy jacket or hoodie. By the time you leave after a 2-3 hour match, the evening chill will have rolled in. Parking: Parking around Haight Street is notoriously brutal. Arriving early helps, but taking transit or a rideshare is definitely the move here. If you want to watch a game surrounded by beautiful, passionate fans and an immaculate crowd vibe, this is the spot.
No food, but the bartender was very accommodating to everyone with the tv’s, sound linked to the games, considering there were 3-4 games playing at once. He was nice and this is a great pub to watch a premier league game. Def recommend.
Was here for Manchester United vs Arsenal game. The atmosphere did not disappoint! This is a red army bar and people turned in at 8:30 in morning with such gusto. Bar tenders are friendly even while being very busy during the game.
