Awesome historic hotel in the Nob Hill area (I'm pretty sure). The lobby and surrounding restaurants are great, especially the Tonga Room. It's a legendary tiki bar with live music coming from a band located in a boat in the middle of the pool area (Google it, it's very cool). The room was HUGE, especially for a bigger, older city like SF. Unfortunately the only pic I took was of the giant stain on the couch, although every other aspect was clean and well presented. My fault. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I'd make it a point to stay here again the next time we're in SF.
We had a wonderful stay. The staff members were incredible and made us feel very welcome, from the front desk, housekeeping, concierge, dining team. Special kudos to Mr. Devone at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us out, excellent customer service! Mr. Jun in Laurel Court was very friendly and professional. Mr. Zach from Engineering delivered great service. The hotel has such a rich history and the unique Tonga Room is too much fun! Overall, we loved the five star service and will be back.
We had a wonderful stay at Fairmont San Francisco. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and full of historic charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with amazing views of the city. The staff was warm, professional, and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore many of San Francisco’s famous attractions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Fairmont San Francisco to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.
I had an amazing time at the candlelight instrumental show! Great musicians, they had funny humor too which added to the experience! The candlelight’s were beautiful, a relaxing and peaceful time. I loved the Hans zimmer tribute, my favorite was the lion king this land. I recommend this event to anyone who loves instruments.
Wonderful staff, beautiful architecture, and clean, spacious rooms. My fiancee and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement and our check-in host, Linette, graciously upgraded our room and sent us champagne to help us celebrate - courtesy of the hotel. Thank you Fairmont, we had a great stay.
