I booked my stay based on the good reviews online, but I do have to admit I was a bit skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the good reviews were true. The room was neat and clean. I loved the decor including the wall paper, tile, laminate flooring, and color schemes. It was just the vibe I needed. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed a good night sleep. The location was very convenient (just a little way from the GG bridge) but the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that we were in a room closest to busy Lombard Street, so it was a tad bit noisy but didn’t keep me from sleeping well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will be staying here again in the future.
Extremely Nice place! Well keept. Newly renovated and clean. Good location with Wishermans Warf to the east and cosy Streets and dining to the west Chestnut street. Safe area. Nice staff!! Could leave our luggage indtil check in. Room for the 5 of us in one double Queen with sofabed. Not easy to find. Would stay there again and will recommend to anyone going to SF.
The star motel was such a pleasant place to stay! Very convenient to see all the main sights close to the wharf. Extremely clean, with beautiful rooms, comfy beds and great hospitality. Couldn’t have chosen a better place, also free parking with your room which is not common in San Francisco, and they gate the lot at night which adds an extra layer of comfort and security.
The staff was kind, attentive and friendly. The rooms were updated, clean and has AC. The free parking is an unusual perk for San Francisco. The price was incredible for a stay in the city. The beds were comfortable, I truly only have good things to say. I would definitely book a stay here again.
Rooms are not the largest, however, we only needed the bed. Price is affordable. These are newly renovated, clean rooms with skylights in the bathroom. Plenty of parking which is unheard of in SF. Service at the desk was super helpful and kind. For our little quick trips, we will definitely be coming back!
