I had a great stay at Hotel Fiona. The location is convenient for getting around the city, and having the airport bus stop right next to the hotel made transit super easy. The room was big and clean. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Sam for the good restaurant recommendations, and a special thanks to the lady working the morning shift for helping me out when I wasn’t feeling well. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in SF.
We had a great time staying at hotel fiona this past week. I brought my family for an appointment at UCSF and we spent time at the academy of the sciences and pier 39. The hotel was perfectly located for being able to go back between visits which was so nice with the kids. The location is a little sketchy but the front door is locked at all times and the elevator requires a room key in order to operate which made the rooms feel very safe. The parking situation was great as well. We walked all over and no one bothered us at all so it was fine. I recommend going towards Howard street to walk rather than Market. Erika and Sam at the front desk were great! Erika took the time to answer all of my questions. Sam helped us to get into our room a little early so we could get settled with the kids which we greatly appreciated. This place was great for the price they charge. For a room and parking I don't think I would have found anything this nice for the price we paid. Walls are a little thin, we had a room with a view of the outdoor patio so I think it is a little quieter there. Also I recommend to bring your own soap if you are sensitive to perfume.
Excellent space with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent for getting the true city experience. There are so many amazing restaurants within just a few blocks. It's perfect if you're into a true gritty city experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Don't sleep on the pastry breakfast either. They provide free breakfast from a delicious local bakery and it is fantastic. The whole hotel has a cool vintage but not dated feel to it. We greatly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay here again!
5-star service by Sam and Kristy and Erika. Thank you! Check-in by Sam: There was a slight issue because someone was already on our parking spot. Sam solved the issue easily. Service by Sam and Kristy: We needed to print a bunch of personal documents required by the VFS for Norway. It was more than 30 pages and we were so ready for some missing docs and also for the extra charge. Turns out they were able to print out everything, nothing missing, and no extra charge! So awesome.. The location is good we like the room, everything is clean here, noise level is minimum. So far we are happy. Thank you for your help. Check-out by Erika: She was super nice to guests, we checked out without any issues. Notes: If you want good hotel, go next door, but look at photos first.
So I was looking for a budget hotel near my conference, and chose Hotel Fiona. It was a quick walk and near plenty. All doors and elevator were secured by keycard, so I felt perfectly safe. The room was clean, spacious and decorated in a unique vintage style that felt like a B&B. I met several receptionists and all were kind and quick to help. Biggest downfall was poor water pressure in the shower, though it was at least nice and hot.
