I always have such a great experience here. The wine is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s such a nice spot to visit in SF. What really stands out is the service. Luna is welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind, and she makes the tasting experience feel personal and enjoyable without ever feeling rushed. You can tell she really cares about creating a great experience for guests. Highly recommend stopping by!
I’ve visited Winery Collective many times over the years, and it has become one of my absolute favorite wine spots in San Francisco. Quality is consistently excellent. Even better, the prices are incredibly fair for the level of wine you’re tasting — easily some of the best value for money in the city. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect whether you want to explore a flight, enjoy a glass, or just spend an evening talking about wine. A big part of why I keep coming back is Costas, one of the bartenders. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about wine. He always takes the time to recommend interesting bottles and makes the experience feel personal rather than transactional. If you’re in San Francisco and want to discover great California wines without the Napa price tag, Winery Collective is a must-visit. And if Costas is behind the bar, you’re in very good hands.
I’ve been coming to Winery Collective for a few years now during work trips, and it’s always amazing. This place is truly authentic. A spot that locals and tourists alike genuinely enjoy. Great people, good wine, and an easy, welcoming vibe. They have a solid mix of local wines, so there’s always something good no matter what you’re in the mood for. Just as good as the wine is the people. Kostas and the team are top tier and make this place feel like a home away from home. To echo some of the comments here, I don't know where to start in this review. Fantastic people, great space and vibes, killer music playing at all times, and of course an incredible selection of wine. The staff is beyond helpful and very clearly care about ensuring that everyone has an unforgettable experience. Shout out to the staff that seem to really know how to curate a playlist to complement whatever is going on. Looking forward to many more trips to the Collective!
A city gem to say the least! I’ve been here about a handful of times now and I can honestly say that the Winery Collective has quickly become one of my favorite Bay Area tasting rooms! Yes, it’s located in a touristy area but there is nothing “touristy” about it. Whenever I visit, whether I’m with friends or ridin’ solo, the amazing staff always welcomes me with open arms. Kostas, Mike, and the rest of the team are so fun and knowledgeable. The customer service is absolutely unparalleled, as are their delicious wines. I’ve brought a few friends here and they have all raved about the great wines and fun atmosphere. Just last month, I brought a few friends who were visiting from New Jersey. During their trip to the Bay Area, they also explored Napa and Sonoma Valley. They told me that they had more fun at the tasting room than they did in wine country! This truly isn’t shocking though as the atmosphere here is so much more homey and fun. And let’s not forget about their wines! I love that they have a collective of different local wine labels to choose from. They’ve got some amazing vintages and their red wines are where they truly shine. I’m currently hooked on their delicious Syrah. Stopped by about 3 weeks ago and took a bottle of it home with me. I should also mention that their bottle prices are very reasonable, especially considering the area. I hold this adorable little tasting room near and dear to my heart. If you’re hanging near Fisherman’s Wharf or are just simply looking for an excellent wine bar in the city, it doesn’t get better than a visit to the Winery Collective. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
