I visited Napizza San Francisco for dinner and had a mixed experience. It’s a nice, cozy little place with a good ambience and outdoor dining available. Since it was cold, I chose to sit inside, but I liked that they offer blankets for guests who prefer sitting outside. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly, which made the overall experience pleasant. However, I was expecting the food to be the highlight and was a bit disappointed. The starter bread they offered was unique and something I really enjoyed. The pasta was probably the best dish I had - I liked it, though I felt it could use a little more sauce. I ordered the Meyer Lemon pizza, and while it was a nice thin pizza, it was a bit too sour for my taste because of the amount of lemon. Btw they helped to customize it with 2 extra things I wanted on pizza. I think it needed more mozzarella balance. The pesto on the pizza was also disappointing; it looked like a very dark green sauce and didn’t have the fresh pesto flavor I was expecting. I also tried a mocktail that was priced at $12, but I don’t think it justified that price. For dessert, I ordered the tiramisu, which was good - not amazing, but definitely a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the place has a nice atmosphere and good service, but the food needs improvement to match the expectations that come with the experience.
the food was super tasty, the service was relatively quick, and everyone was kind. it was a very cute interior, although it was small. the pesto gnocchi was delicious, as were the truffle fries!
Wow. What can I say, other than incredible! From the service to the wine, to the food, then dessert. 5 stars!! For starters we took our server's recommendation and ordered the fried dough with the burrata. Amazing! Then we shared a sausage& black truffle cream pasta, which my fiance said it was possibly "the best pasta I've ever had". Then the pizza... the dough, the sauce, the flavors, the spicy chili oil. Perfection. To top it off we received a delicious tiramisu on the house.. we usually go to Tony's for pizza, but I'm so glad we decided to switch it up, we will definitely be back!
We had a great meal at 'Napizza in San Francisco. We shared the La Sorrentina pizza among four people and it was excellent. The crust was perfectly crisp with nice char, and the toppings tasted fresh and well-balanced. For my main plate I ordered the Tonnarelli Tartufati, and it was delicious too. The pasta had a rich truffle flavor that worked really well. The bread they served at the beginning was good as well. Warm, soft, and perfect for sharing. Overall a solid Italian spot with flavorful food and nice portions. We would definitely come back. 🍕🍝🥖
Not a bad spot to check out. We had the Caesar salad which was good, the pizzas we tried were tasty but the pasta was underwhelming. The prosciutto on the pizza didn’t feel very fresh, however the dough was very fluffy which is why I’m still giving this place 4 stars. The pasta was bland and lowkey tasteless, almost no salt or flavor but the overall experience was good.
