I ordered from this place as a delivery and didn’t go in the store. The food is so much better here. I actually got ginger and scallions sauce for my Hainan chicken dish. It was very flavorful ❣️ the food was deliciously good 😊. I appreciate the flavor very much 🎉. The mango coconut jello was very different 💕. Highly recommend this place.

Great find at the street market! Their chicken and rice is the real deal — inspired by the Singaporean Hainanese style, the chicken is tender and flavorful and the rice perfectly cooked. Casual, unpretentious, and delivers exactly what it promises. A solid 4 stars — one of those spots you're glad you stumbled upon.

I loved the original Chicken and Rice dish. It was flavorful and felt like a warm hug in a bowl. I enjoyed eating it with the habanero hot sauce. The Dan Dan noodles were good.

The Thai Basil Gai was smackin' with the two extra sauces I ordered with it. It was easy to order through the kiosk and the order came fairly quickly. The atmosphere inside felt kinda dark and the human interaction at the counter seemed robotic.

GAI Chicken & Rice is hands down my go-to spot for amazing chicken sandwiches whenever I’m in SF! These sandwiches are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. They can definitely get a little messy, but trust me, they are so worth it. The combination of tender chicken with their delicious sauces and toppings is unbeatable. I’ve also tried other dishes from the menu, and everything I’ve had is super tasty. Whether you’re in the mood for something spicy, crispy, or savory, GAI has you covered with a variety of flavorful options. The chicken is always fresh, and you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. If you’re in the mood for a satisfying, delicious meal that packs a punch of flavor, I highly recommend stopping by GAI Chicken & Rice.
