The service was fast and highly efficient. I ordered the New York Steak, which arrived promptly and was perfectly cooked. The portion size was satisfying, and the flavor profile was excellent. The atmosphere and overall environment are impressive. It’s a transparently high-quality spot that I’d recommend for anyone seeking both speed and culinary performance. Great execution.

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned—the bartenders really make this place. They were friendly without being overbearing, quick to acknowledge you even when it got busy, and clearly knew their cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned that was well-balanced, and they even offered a quick taste of a local beer before I decided. Service felt attentive and genuine, not scripted. If you’re sitting at the bar, you’ll be well taken care of.

I recently had dinner at Fish & Farm in San Francisco and overall it was a very enjoyable experience that deserves a solid 4 stars. To start, I ordered the crab cakes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation. Instead of being served alone, the crab cakes came on top of a fresh salad, which made the appetizer feel more complete and satisfying. The crab cakes themselves were flavorful and well-prepared, definitely a highlight of the meal. For my main course, I went with the classic fish and chips. The dish was exactly what you would expect—crispy, golden batter with tender fish inside. While not the best I’ve ever had, it was certainly good and hit the spot. What stood out was the attention to detail: the server brought out malt vinegar without me having to ask, and there was plenty of tartar sauce provided, which is something many restaurants often skimp on. That small touch really elevated the experience. To finish off the meal, I tried the blueberry cheesecake, which was excellent. Rich, creamy, and bursting with blueberry flavor, it was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Service was good overall, though a little on the slow side since there was only one staff member handling the host stand, bar, and tables. Considering that, he did an impressive job keeping everything running smoothly. If you’re looking for a spot in San Francisco with tasty seafood, solid desserts, and a cozy atmosphere, Fish & Farm is definitely worth a visit.
