We’ve been fans of David and Serena since Marlena where we spent many nights of great food and unforgettable times. Tonight we came at 7 adams to celebrate my wife’s birthday at the chef’s counter and it was one more amazing night for the books. Great service, amazing food and every detail taken into account! Thank you so much and we can’t wait to be back!

Celebrated my husband’s birthday at 7 Adams, a Michelin restaurant in San Francisco, and it was an incredible experience. The 7-course meal was outstanding, every dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. It made for such a memorable celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking to mark a special occasion in San Francisco with an unforgettable dining experience worthy of its Michelin recognition.

Best value Michelin meal in SF — Flawless execution Date of Audit: October 2025 I’ve finally checked 7 Adams off my list, and it’s easily one of my new favorites in the city. If you want to see how a Michelin star kitchen should actually run—calm, purpose-driven, and highly technical—this is the blueprint. Not only is the food downright tasty, but the service is excellent and the presentations are outstanding. Pro Tip: Street parking in this part of the Lower Fillmore/Pacific Heights area is usually pretty easy within a block or two. It’s a much more relaxed arrival than most high-end SF spots, which sets the tone for the whole meal. The Auditor’s Notes: Japanese Milk Bread: You have to order this. It’s a masterclass in hydration, and the house-made cultured butter was served at the perfect temperature—a basic technical detail many 3-star places shockingly overlook. Handmade Pasta: We had the Saffron Cavatelli and it was spot on. Perfectly al dente with a saline balance from the smoked clams and trout roe that was just incredible. Black Cod & Berkshire Pork: We tried both mains and the execution was flawless. The cod skin had that elusive, glass-shatter crunch that indicates superior heat control in the kitchen. The Experience: The open kitchen moves with quiet confidence. At $87 for 5 courses, the quality-to-price ratio here is untouchable. Summary: Eat here and you’ll see exactly why they have that Michelin star. It proves you don’t need to spend 500 Euros to get a meal free of technical errors and institutional hubris. Highly Recommended.

The place is cute. The 5 course dinner for 2 persons is phenomenal. We were able to actually try 10 different dishes, one better than the other. 2 menu’s and 1 bottle of wine, everything ended at the perfect moment, with a full belly and 2 empty glasses. Service was impeccable and Kareem (hopefully I spelled it correctly) was as attentive as caring, strongly rec commended for a tasty & delicious experience. One of the top meal in the city in the last 3 years. Strongly recommended.

I came here for a birthday dinner. The service was attentive and thoughtful, but not intrusive. They have two menus: one is a seven course menu which is not customizable and the other is a five course menu which is what we had. The first two courses were appetizers. One was a seafood dip served on a sesame chip, which was light and refreshing. The second course was crudo with citrus elements. The third course was pasta. We had the spinach ravioli and mini duck dumplings. All of the portions were small, but flavorful. The main course was lamb, very flavorful around the fatty parts. The center was slightly raw. The shepherd's pie was smooth and creamy, integrated with the flavor from the lamb sauce. Finally, we had a selection of their desserts. All were excellent finishes to the meal, refreshing and not too sweet.
