Came here for lunch on Friday. We had made a reservation on resy and it was easy to get a table when we walked in. Service is friendly and space is bright and airy. As of May 2026, Popi is a resy restaurant eligible for the $100 Amex restaurant credit. We decided to indulge and get: * deviled eggs with caviar: soooo good! Amazing complement of textures and flavors: creamy, salty, pops of caviar * Steamers: great flavor with the sausage * hot Popi: spectacular!! Amazing butter and garlic flavor and all the seafood was incredible We love Popi's! It's one of the few places in Sf where the seafood matches and sometime out does Hog Island (and without the wait)!
Food is really, really good! Waitress is very welcoming and nice. Had wonderful oysters and the cioppino here is slendid.
Very good food, we had the oysters, mussels and clams. Super tasty and great service. Also a nice place to people watch at sunset 😊 a little bit pricey but I guess that’s SF
The oysters and clams were super fresh. The clam ceviche was very fresh as well, but next time I’d ask for the sauce on the side. The strozapreti crab pasta was amazing—the pasta was so chewy. The fish and chips were great too, and my son loved them. Corkage is $25, and they provide regular glasses since they don’t have wine glasses.
Popi’s Oysterette is a seafood lover’s delight! The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the mignonette added a nice kick. The clam chowder was smoky and comforting, and the crab roll was rich and satisfying. The atmosphere is breezy and casual, with friendly, attentive staff. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or light dinner. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood!
