Great place and very friendly supportive staff. Only downside is it’s by 16th and mission which can have a lot of homeless, but it’s really not an issue at all if you just mind your own business. Doesn’t feel that unsafe, police are constantly monitoring the area. It’s a hostel so don’t come in expecting a 5 star hotel, it’s just a fantastic price for what you get in my opinion. Honestly the best part though is the proximity to all the amazing food and drink scene in the mission district. You can literally walk out the door and grab amazing food within a 3 minute walk
