this pool is lovely. crisp clean water, good basic changing facilities and helpful staff (shout out Charlie). the only limit is the number of plugs for a hair dryer. definitely a great place for a swim
A wonderful pool for those looking to enhance their health and unwind. * Pros: - Great location: close to MUNI, making it easy to get to and from. - Proximity to a children's playground: Perfect for families. - A cozy sauna: Perfect for a relaxing break after a swim. - Warm family pool: IIdeal for those who want to cool off in the water. - Minimum water level: 3 feet deep, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. - Swimming suit spinner: no need to take wet clothes home. - Intensive safeguarding training for students: Especially useful during summer camp. * Cons: - Open showers: no individual cabins for privacy, which may be a bit uncomfortable for those who prefer a more private experience. - Water in showers: not warm enough for a proper wash. - Daily pool schedule: designed for active swimmers rather than those just looking to relax. Some days can be quite crowded. - Small talk with seniors: if you visit the pool daily, be prepared for small talk with older visitors who may engage in conversations with you. - Parking slots: no parking available, so you'll need to find a spot on the street. - Locker safety: make sure to close your locker properly using your own lock to prevent valuables from being stolen. - Discounts for seniors and monthly/yearly passes. - Be ready to pay $8 by cash and $8.29 by card for adults.
Tiny but pretty nice pool! The lanes are more narrow than usual. Open showers (which are great to minimize waste and promote body positivity) have excellent water pressure, and there's a spinner to dry your swimsuit, as well as hair driers at 3 different heights. The main opportunities for improvement (other than having more and bigger lanes) would be too add a couple of full-body mirrors and some soap dispensers in the showers.
