Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

We stayed here the night before our cruise left port and we had a great night. The place was clean and quiet. The staff were incredibly nice. The happy hour was great. We were tired after a long day of travel and doing tourist things, but we ordered door dash. The front desk received food! I was grateful for the help. The stored our luggage while we went site seeing, too.
Perfect location if you're visiting this part of the city. Everything is within blocks and totally walkable (or if you're adventurous like us, take a Waymo. You'll love it!) Check-in went smoothly and our room was even ready hours before we were supposed to arrive. We were also given a number of coupons for nearby restaurants (be sure to check out Cioppino's - you won't regret it). Our room, on the top floor, was immaculate. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of towels. Room very quiet at night even though we were next to a parking garage. Breakfast in the mornings were good (keep in mind that it's not free and offerings are limited but our eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes and toast were filling). Location is perfect for exploring. Plenty of shops and restaurants including a very popular In and Out Burger place just around the corner. We stayed three nights at this location and would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
At first we came to check in our room wasn’t ready! But it was not long at all for them to contact us to accommodate us with a room, Robert checked us in and he was absolutely so pleasant and helpful, we held our bags as we explored and he was able to get us situated and got our bags back to us! His colleague gave us some water as we arrived ( I’m so bummed I can’t remember her name) the staff was just absolutely friendly, service was outstanding!! I would highly recommend this place if you want something close enough to fisherman’s wharf!! It’s still far enough from the busy streets where you’re able to not hear everything!! And enjoy a good night sleep after enjoying SF all day! I also have to give a shout out to the manager who went out of his way to grab us towels, it was later in the day when we requested them he was so nice to take time out to get them to us asap!
Wow! This hotel is the IT! Nice rooms with windows that open! The staff is top notch. Sarah, front desk associate, knew who I was, knew what my special requests were and had a bottle of Bonvoy water waiting. Superb!!! All staff were great. Breakfast cafe on 2nd floor, Near Pier 33-39 Frisherman's Warf,, Ghirardelli Square and much more. Valet parking was a bit pricey but worth it. I am really glad I stayed here!
This hotel comes the mainstream US hotel model. Clean rooms, good service and few extras on top. There's no restaurant here, although you can buy a basic breakfast on the 2nd floor, and there's no bar but you can buy some canned/bottled beers from beside reception. It can be a bit pricey but this is San Francisco, everything is pricey. I tried to return for one night at the end of my business trip and the price had shot up to $570 a night, so watch out for those eye watering peak days. Now, what is good, in fact fantastic, is the location. Walk to the right out the hotel for less than 5 minutes and you'll pass the absolute must do attraction of the cable car down to Market Street. Pass that and you'll look up to see Alcatraz Island to your right and the Golden Gate Bridge to your left. If instead you'd turned left out of the hotel, you are about 10 minutes walk from Pier 39 with its noise seals and bustling tourist areas. This hotel is a great spot to stay for you SFO visit. If you are vegetarian, the restaurants are very sea food orientated and you might want to head out of Fisherman's Wharf to get more choice. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place and I'd use it again myself, but watch the pricing $220-250 can be justified, but $500+ is getting silly.
