Town House Motel
San Francisco
レビュー
The rooms have not been remodeled but they were clean. Free safe off street parking is really the biggest plus. You do have a coffee maker in the room.
Andy at the front desk was AWESOME!! Room was clean and comfortable. This is not the RITZ. Basic room, perfect for spending a trip to San Francisco. WIL BE BACK, NEXT TIME IN SF
If there are other options, don't stay here. We were hit with surge pricing due to the JP Morgan Convention so ended up overpaying for this run-down motel by quite a lot. Positives: The person who checked us in was very nice and personable and let us store our belongings before check-in (and let us check in early). Location is decent, but not the best as there aren't many stores and restaurants nearby and it will be a bit of a walk to the main drag of Lombard. There was a mini fridge and a coffee machine (though it wasn't a full pot). Cable TV worked. Shower pressure was quite high. Negatives: There were multiple defects with the room. Stains on the chairs and gnats. Carpet was gross. Paint peeling off the walls. Clear mold spot on the ceiling over the bed. The AC unit had an awful smell when running. The bed cover had burn holes all over it and there were two throw pillows on the bed when we got there that looked dirty. Weirdly, someone had put a piece of toilet paper to cover the peephole and it wasn't removed by cleaning staff. Sketchy characters in the parking lot, especially at night, so didn't feel the safest. The key to our room stopped working 5+ times, which could be a real hassle if you were to get in after 11 PM when the office is closed (though luckily that did not happen to us). Vending machine worked the first time, but then stole my money. The outlets on each side of the bed were situated in a really awkward spot more than a foot above the nightstands. No microwave. Shower was very small and the showerhead was too low if you happen to be tall. We also had to pay for water daily as we didn't trust the tap water here. Just generally pretty dingy.
