Great venue! Keep bringing in great bands in and we will keep on coming. Parking wasn’t too bad, either, for the city. Can’t wait to be back in Sept. for Julien-K! Recommend pre-gaming as the bar drinks are spendy.
Heated Rivalry Rave was amazing. Queer friendly crowd, organized, everyone respectful. I appreciated the amount of security and staff present, all of them kind. The line to get in was long in distance but went by very fast. There’s an attached pizza place which I didn’t eat at but it was nice to be able to go in there and take a breather. Cocktails were great. Venue is small, casual, cozy. So much fun. Definitely recommend.
I have gone to the DNA lounge primarily to catch live music. It’s pretty much SRO - with a bit of sitting in the pizza area or up top. I’ve only seen Punk or Heavy Metal at the DNA lounge primarily- so of course the music is loud - not a place for quiet conservations - but great place to catch a band - as even at the back of the place - you’re closer to the band(s) that you will be at any large venue - unless you have money to burn
