Fun funky decor. Menu is a mix of Spanish and Italian (but mostly Spanish). The Albondigas (meatballs) were moist and delicious. The braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavor. We also had the Patatas Bravas appetizer, which were delicious. Layer upon layer of potato, with a delicious sauce. They also had a very nice N/A drink menu, which we appreciated. The N/A Negroni was delicious.
I’ve randomly stopped by this place on at least two occasions now. Cocktails were fantastic, and the food is unexpectedly refined and really good. The patatas bravas are perfection, and I really enjoyed their smoked salmon crostinis as well. For being in North Beach, prices were also very reasonable. Would love the opportunity to try other dishes in the future!
TLdR: great food at reasonable prices especially for happy hour All the food and drink was 20 or 25% off during happy hour. We really enjoyed the shrimp and the croquettes. I also liked that it has outdoor and indoor seating. Service was quick and professional, would come Back!
Red Window is such a reliable neighborhood staple. The tapas are always good and hit the spot. I definitely recommend getting the Gambas Al Ajillo and the Patatas Bravas. The Brussels had the perfect crispy texture without tasting burnt, and a sour salty flavor. I unfortunately did not like the Octopus. The ingredients just don’t go super well together. Maybe if you have it as a dip for slices of bread it’s better? Not sure to be honest.
Absolutely delicious from start to finish! The burger was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The ribs were so tender and juicy they practically fell apart, and the croquettes were amazing — crispy on the outside, creamy and full of flavor on the inside 🤤 Everything we ordered was excellent, and you can really tell care goes into the food. Great quality, generous portions, and a meal we'll definitely be thinking about for a while. Can't wait to come back!
