I am a long time San Franciscan and this place reminded me of old San Francisco when the fog was relentless, even in the Marina. Coming inside to a place like this felt warm and cozy. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. Love how they are decorated, real warm and comfortable bedding. Everything had a thoughtful touch. A big relief knowing comfort and familiarity is still alive in the City by the bay.
Nice place, seems clean and well updated. Quiet at night and a great location. We even had a little peek of the tops of the Golden Gate bridge from our window. On the down side there is no fan in the bathroom??? A microwave would have been nice too.
Excellent location for getting out and exploring the city. Our room was great, comfy beds, nice updated bathroom. Only complaints - fridge definitely wasn't cold enough to keep anything and although the location is perfect, the older windows do nothing for noise dampening. Being right on Lombard was a bit noisy with loud vehicles all through the night. Truly other than those two things, the hotel was perfect for our family!
I stayed here two times across two weeks while traveling for work. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, clean, and well maintained! Internet speeds were good, heating and cooling worked well, and the beds were comfortable. You get exactly what they're offering and the staff were lovely. Secure underground parking at no extra cost was a huge plus.
