The Orchard Hotel
San Francisco
Avis
My mom and I spent a few days here and had a delightful time. Mr. Steven at the front desk was so helpful, friendly and he had great recommendations. He even generously helped us get our luggage into our Uber. Our room was beautiful and huge with a nice view. The bathtub and shower were lovely as well. The yellow striped walls reminded me of “Eloise.” Highly recommend.
We were delightfully surprised at how wonderful the hotel is. We were greeted at the check-in desk with a smile and a warm welcome. We arrived several hours before check in; however, we were able to get into our room right away. The room was beautifully appointed and was spacious compared to. other hotels. I’ve stayed out in San Francisco. The room had a pod coffee maker and a mini fridge as well as a safe. There is a carafe in the room which can be used at the filtered water stations on several floors of the hotel. The location is close to Union Square; however, it is up a steep hill for those who are walking. Overall, I loved the hotel and would definitely stay at the Orchard again!!!
I stayed here in May with my husband for 4 nights. It was perfect! The location was great. Walking distance from many places, and not far from train stations. The room was nice. The staff was nice. The price was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Orchard Hotel during our time in San Francisco and it ended up being one of those hotels that quietly exceeds expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was very positive overall. The room was one of the biggest surprises. It was very clean, comfortable, well maintained, and worked perfectly for what we needed after long days walking around the city. The bed was comfortable, the room felt cozy, and everything gave us a very solid impression. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. It is incredibly well positioned in the heart of San Francisco and made getting around the city extremely easy. Powell Street is just steps away, so the famous cable car experience is practically around the corner, with a stop very close to the hotel entrance. It is also near Market Street and Union Square, which made it easy to explore many areas on foot without constantly needing transportation. Considering the price we paid, the value was honestly excellent. In a city like San Francisco, finding a hotel with this level of comfort and this location at a reasonable price feels like a great deal. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we ended up loving a café located near the corner of Powell Street. Their avocado toast was excellent and we went back there every morning. For us, the menu was simply more appealing. Service at the front desk varied depending on the person working. Some employees were genuinely warm and helpful, while others felt more distant and less engaged. Still, nothing serious enough to negatively affect our stay. Overall, we left with a very good impression of the Orchard Hotel. It was a smart choice for this trip and if we return to San Francisco in the future, it will definitely be one of the hotels we consider staying at again.
I had a fantastic stay at **The Orchard Hotel**. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out for being genuinely friendly and providing truly exceptional service. As a pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a full suite at no additional cost. The suite itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness really showed. Overall, the room was quiet, well-appointed, and made for a relaxing stay. Excellent service, a great room, and a thoughtful upgrade—highly recommended.
