Just a cute totally fine clean motel very conveniently located. We only ever dealt with the one guy at the desk the whole time who was super nice and helpful. Good value. Would stay again.
It was a great experience clean rooms with fridge and AC only thing I didn’t like is the stairs wish there was an elevator but it’s ok I got my steps in also the ice machine was broken. But it was a great stay for our 3 day 2 night spring break vacation!
5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value in the Marina District — stayed for free as a Sonesta Platinum member! Just had a great stay at the Signature Inn San Francisco Marina District (2440 Lombard Street). As a Sonesta Travel Pass Platinum member, I redeemed points for a completely free stay and was very impressed with what I got for zero out-of-pocket cost. The location is perfect — walking distance to the Marina Green, Palace of Fine Arts, Chestnut Street dining and shops, and a quick ride to Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Presidio. In a city where parking and location matter so much, having on-site parking available was a big win. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a solid bed, plenty of pillows, microwave, mini-fridge, flat-screen TV with streaming, and strong free WiFi. The retro-modern style has a nice charm to it. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even helping with our late check-in. For a budget-friendly property that's now part of the Sonesta family, this place delivers solid basics without any major issues. As a Platinum member, the perks made the free redemption even sweeter. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for convenience and value in the Marina area — I'd definitely stay here again on points or otherwise!
The location of the hotel is excellent — we were able to walk everywhere easily. The rooms are quite small and there is only one ceiling light, so there’s no separate bedside lighting, which makes the room feel a bit impractical at night. Also, the bathroom doors don’t fully close, so privacy could be an issue if you are traveling with someone other than your partner. That being said, the room was clean, comfortable, and it was sufficient for our stay.
This place exceeded my expectations. Everything suited our needs. We like to spend most of our time sight seeing than hanging in the motel room. This place offered modern decor, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a wonderful shower and lots of cozy pillows. And the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Location was awesome with plenty of shops and eateries around. Parking was limited, but we were lucky to find a space. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit.
