The front desk staff at Hotel Zoe were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby was nice, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the room and hotel overall. Both the hotel and our room felt very dark, and the room itself felt dated and somewhat dingy. It also didn’t feel as clean or comfortable as we expected. We also had brown/discolored water come out of the shower, which was concerning. The location is convenient, and we had no issues with the staff, but based on the condition and overall atmosphere, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
I had a great staycation here using my Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit on The Edit. I enjoyed the late checkout after checking in availability and since I had to take care of matters prior (last minute packing) I checked in the regular time at 4pm. Things that I loved: 1. The free smores kit provided daily after 5pm. 2. The free promo code with 1000 rides from Zybra Plus app. Free daily up to 1 hr with credit card input. 3. The 2 free daily continental breakfast, I tried their French toast, Greek yogurt, and their delicious mushroom omlette. All decadent! Servers were phenomenal! 4. The $100 property credit I used at their restaurant Pescatore! Gotta try their milk clarified drink. 5. The Hyatt Centric pool and fitness access since Hotel Zoe didn’t have a gym they have a partnership. I want to shoutout Diana for the kind and friendly service she provided me checking in and Ben who was very helpful and greeted me daily and helped me with my first use of the Zybra Plus bike! I look forward to future stays here and highly recommend others to too! Despite the hefty $600+ price tag with my $250 credit and $100 property credit! It was so worth it. One star knocked off for the peculiar sculpture in the courtyard and the absence of a welcome gift.
Arrived at 8:30 pm on day of my reservation. Was told they couldn’t valet my car because I didn’t buy a parking package. I’ve stayed in hotels literally all over the world and have NEVER had to prepay for valet parking, especially in an extremely busy city with no street parking to be found. The rooms were loud. There are just all kinds of unwritten rules and stipulations on things that you’re never told about. Can’t get a soda with the breakfast voucher but you can get coffee for example but you don’t know that until after you’ve ordered it. Most hotels are “thank you for staying with us.” This hotel is very “you’re welcome for us letting you stay here.”
Quiet and convenient location. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms - very clean. Bar fridge in room. Per other reviews we expected no kettle/microwave in the room, but happily discovered the morning self serve coffee just off the main lobby. Hotel also provides disposable plates/cutlery to take back to the rooms if needed. Would recommend.
What a Very Nice place. The location is convenient right in the fishmans Wharf neighborhood (2 Blocks away). And walking distance from Pier #39. We were right there, but also far enough to have peace and quiet once we get back to the hotel. Inside the lobby is nicely decorated comfortable seating around the fireplace. A computer work station the seats 6 people comfortablely. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Offering discount tkts to restaurants and various entertainment venues in the area. Everything about our room was good except we had no view...[a brick wall] since we face an alley way between the structures. But it really didn't bother us because honestly we didn't spend much time there other than sleeping. Pescatore Restaurant located off the main lobby is a wonderful place to either start your day with breakfast or end it with an exquisite meal. We loved it. Definitely go enjoy your time in San Francisco at Hotel Zoe.
