Sabrina took great care of us. I understand that busy bars need to keep it moving, but Sabrina has a rare talent of keeping all of us engaged and making us all feel incredibly important. I feel like family, and Sabrina is a rock star. Thanks, Tupelo!
Great vibe once the songs come on. Good food - try the burgers! Cool bartenders (some people call them rude but they're are nothing like that. They are rude coz some guys act funny) Great service. Must try the butterscotch old fashioned!!! Will come back for more. They need to work on their bathrooms though - am sure that will happen in time.
Great venue last weekend to listen to live music with Joe Bluesman and his band. I've heard them before and they simply sound amazing, always engaging the crowd who was very responsive that evening. Having plenty of room to dance made for a really fun evening. Then came some Tue night karaoke-like performance on stage by the purple lady who decided to sing Pink Martini's famous Je ne veux pas travailler, and it all went south. I was grateful that the evening didn't require a cover charge and was perplexed as to who she was, who told her she could sing, and, most importantly, why!!??? She totally killed the vibe for the rest of the evening and the crowd seemed very responsive to that as well. Thankfully, the soirée was coming to its end but what a bummer that was.
Come for the music, stay for the company and then go home! Or make friends and family. Just, ya know... Don't sleep there. Teague and his crew have lives to live, too ... Ok? This place has everything. And great kitchen (and bathroom) sinks. 🪄
